Multiple washroom requirements had to be fulfilled on this £9.7 million new-build Primary School.

Skilful design maintained an element of continuity throughout all the washrooms, whilst specific design of each washroom was tailored to the users of that area. Colour themes based around dark blue panels complemented with white or pale grey surrounds, provided continuity throughout the building.

Washrooms for the nursery and reception featured the popular halfheight Minimax system, modified to include bespoke pilasters and corresponding curved tops to doors and divisions. Washrooms for Years 1 to 6 featured the standard-height Myna range but with the same curved top to the doors for continuity. And finally, the staff washrooms applied similar colour themes to the universal Motiv cubicle system and Xaron vanity unit, achieving a cost-effective but attractive adult washroom.
